What exactly are organic products?
Organic / biological products include both foods and textiles / clothing. Their common feature is that they are produced from plantations grown according to organic farming standards. This means crops with organic fertilizers such as manure, green manure and bone meal, techniques such as crop rotation and companion planting, but also the use of natural chemicals instead of chemical pesticides. It often involves harvesting by hand rather than by mechanical means.
Organic clothing can consist of Cotton, Hemp, Utah, Silk, Rami or Wool. In particular, organic cotton is produced without the use of chemical substances such as formaldehyde, azo dyes, etc., pigments, brighteners, heavy metals, fire retardants, ammonia, softeners and the like.
What are the benefits of organic clothes?
Infants and young children have a much more sensitive skin than adults, and have not yet fully developed an immune system. Organic clothes are the best choice for infants and kids (and not only them), as the absence of chemicals makes allergies, eczema and other skin disorders far less likely.
When using organic clothing when the child sweats and the skin pores open, they do not absorb the chemical dyes normally found in typical synthetic clothes. In addition, due to the absence of chemical treatment, organic fabrics have a better skin feel, more vivid colors; they are more durable and tend to last longer.
